A beautifully executed signed landscape painting from 1990, capturing the warmth and tranquility of a picturesque rural setting.
The composition centers on a charming country cottage nestled among abundant greenery, garden foliage, rustic fencing, and vibrant sunflowers. A winding path draws the eye into the scene, while the artist’s loose, expressive brushwork gives the landscape a lively and spontaneous character.
Fresh greens, soft blues, warm yellows, and touches of earthy color create a bright, inviting palette and a wonderful sense of depth and atmosphere. The sunflowers beside the cottage provide a particularly appealing focal detail, enhancing the warmth and charm of the composition.
Signed and dated “90” at the lower left, the painting is elegantly presented in a gilt frame with a wide fabric-lined surround, giving it a refined, gallery-ready appearance.
A distinctive original landscape with timeless decorative appeal, beautifully suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
