This is a square double sided fob which has a carved ornate strut and suspension loop. The book shaped fob opens up and inside are two cavities for pictures / keepsakes. One side has a finer inner bezel and glass cover over a photograph. The other side has no inner bezel or glass, just a piece of velvet. The front cover of the locket is set with a white hardstone and a mother of pearl inlaid bird. The other side is set with a solid piece of moss agate. The fob is decorated with carved detailing on the bezels. The locket measures 34mm x 23mm x 10mm and is in 90% mint condition – some light loss to the bird and light tarnish to the gilding.
